For the first time at the event, online booths were used to enable foreign exhibitors to participate amid the ongoing social distancing measures and border restrictions, as laid out by organiser, the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad).
The expo has attracted the participation of 250 domestic and foreign firms with products showcased across 350 booths.
Hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and organised annually by Vinexad for the last 20 years, the Vietnam Expo is recognised as one of the most effective trade events in the country.
The event is scheduled to run until December 5.
