Speaking at the session, Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh suggested the Association focus on promoting the development of the organisation, ensuring that all 63 provinces and cities have Association branches, thereby, performing well in its role as a bridge between businesses and State management agencies and socio-political organisations.

The Association should also regularly exchange information, solve difficulties and problems for businesses in investment and business activities; as well as coordinate with central and local agencies and units to encourage the movement of creative start-ups among the people, especially the youth, the Deputy PM said.

Members of the Association, especially typical ones, need to take the lead in enhancing the application of science and high technology; and improve the quality and quantity of products and enhance competitiveness in both domestic and international markets, he noted.

Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh also asked the Association to be more proactive and active in participating in the programmes and projects launched by ministries, branches and localities that are being implemented in order to better support member enterprises, thereby improving management and professional knowledge and skills for its members.
