More than 100 pavilions showcased at Vietnamese Goods Week in Hanoi

The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade launched the Vietnamese Goods Week at Me Linh Plaza in Ha Dong district on March 19 to support enterprises with the promotion of their products as well as helping stimulate consumption demand.

The event features more than 100 pavilions of Vietnamese enterprises showcasing consumer goods, industrial, handicraft, agricultural and organic products, OCOP (One Commune One Product) goods, and local specialties.

To support enterprises facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organising board has arranged an exhibition space for enterprises from the eight provinces and cities of Nghe An, Hai Duong, Ha Giang, Son La, Cao Bang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Lam Dong. Enterprises from districts and towns in Hanoi including Me Linh, Dong Anh, Phu Xuyen, Ha Dong, Son Tay and others are also taking part in the event.

This is an opportunity for enterprises to introduce their products, organise trade promotion activities, and stimulate consumption amongt consumers in Hanoi.

Acting Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Tran Thi Phuong Lan said that the department has asked authorised agencies to create favourable conditions to enterprises to participate in the event while spreading information on the programme in order to attract visitors.

In addition, enterprises are required to strictly follow all the relevant regulations on pandemic prevention and control while providing high-quality products with clear information on origin and reasonable prices for consumers, Lan noted.
