The resort, known as FLC Ha Giang, is to be built at an altitude of nearly 500 metres above sea level, boasting a full view of the province’s eponymous capital city.
With a capacity of 2,000, the resort includes a five-star hotel, an infinity pool, a convention centre and bungalows along the mountainside.

FLC Ha Giang is expected to offer a unique experience combining modern amenities with local culture, said the property developer’s Vice Chair Huong Tran Kieu Dung.

She stated that with breath-taking mountainous scenery, a rich culture and a UNESCO-recognised geopark, Ha Giang possesses great potential for tourism development.

However, the lack of accommodation facilities has made Ha Giang attractive only to individual visitors and tourism revenue has failed to meet expectations, thus FLC Ha Giang is hoping to transform the province’s tourism industry.

Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony, Ha Giang Chairman Nguyen Van Son said that the event is significant for both the province and FLC, while affirming the province will create the most favourable conditions for FLC and other enterprises in order to successfully implement their projects.
