Communist Review upholds identity of Party’s political organ

Communist Review should continue to promote its tradition and uphold its role and identity as a political organ of the Party Central Committee to be worthy of being the leading ideological flag of the Party.

Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong made the remark in his letter sent to Communist Review on August 5 to congratulate the agency on its 90th founding anniversary (August 5, 1930-2020).

Communist Review held a ceremony on August 5 to celebrate its 90th anniversary and launch the Patriotic Emulation Congress for the 2020-2025 period.

On the occasion, Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong sent a congratulatory letter to the agency. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Organisation Commission Pham Minh Chinh, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also sent flower baskets to the agency.

In his letter, the top Party and State leader congratulated the agency and praised its proud achievements from over the past 90 years.

During its 90 years of development, the agency has overcome all difficulties and challenges through various revolutionary stages to fulfil its tasks and make significant contributions to the Party’s ideological and theoretical work, contributing to the cause of national liberation and reunification and the building of socialism, the top leader said.

Addressing the ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of Communist Review Doan Minh Huan affirmed that amid increasing pressure and challenges, the entire staff of the agency will unite to promote the agency to be worthy of the trust of the Party and the expectations of the people.

On the occasion, the agency launched the Patriotic Emulation Congress for the 2020-2025 period among its staff.
