On the morning of March 11, Quang Tri Chairman Vo Van Hung visited the newspaper’s headquarters and gave his best wishes to the newspaper’s leaders, editors, reporters and staff.
Hung thanked Nhan Dan for accompanying the province in communicating its accomplishments in the past, while expressing his hope that the newspaper will continue to cover its activities in the future, especially the upcoming 50th anniversary of the province’s liberation in 2022.
On behalf of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Editor-in-chief Le Quoc Minh thanked Quang Tri Province for its warm sentiments and informed them that the newspaper has outlined a plan for covering the anniversary of Quang Tri’s liberation.
VJA leaders congratulate Nhan Dan on the 71st anniversary of its first issue.
On the same day, a VJA delegation headed by Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Loi visited and congratulated Nhan Dan on the 71st anniversary of the newspaper’s first issue.
While extending his best wishes, Loi emphasised that it is a joyous occasion of not only Nhan Dan Newspaper, but also the nation’s journalism circles, including the VJA.
For his part, Nhan Dan Editor-in-chief Le Quoc Minh thanked the VJA and Loi for their congratulations, and stated that the two sides should enhance cooperation in the coming time to fulfil the assigned political tasks.
