According to provincial culture authorities, the bronze may have been cast during the Ly Dynasty (1009-1225) or Tran Dynasty (1225-1400).

The bell measures 102 centimetres tall and 60 centimetres in diameter. Its crown is engraved with two bo lao, a mythical beast similar to the dragon.

The body of the bell is also decorated with delicate characters, patterns and other features.

The bell is currently stored at a nearby Buddhist temple, awaiting further research from experts.
