The programme had been scheduled for broadcast on the occasion of July 27 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Held by the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper, the programme aims to show gratitude to wounded soldiers, martyrs and revolutionary contributors.
This year’s edition recreated the tragic and majestic memories from arduous and fierce wartime that touched all people.
Well-known singers including Colonel Ro Cham Phiang, Minh Quang, Anh Tho and others performed popular songs demonstrating national pride, dedication of the young generations, and gratitude to the revolutionary contributors.
In addition to art performances, the programme also featured reportages recording activities of gratitude to invalids, martyrs, policy beneficiary families, and revolutionary contributors during the 14-year journey of the Red Flower programme.
The organising board of the programme also mobilised sources to present gifts to wounded and sick soldiers, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and revolutionary contributors in Ha Giang, Tien Giang, Bac Giang, Hanoi, Ha Nam, Thanh Hoa and others.
