The 17 prizes included one A, six B and 10 C prizes. The winning entries stood out from the 95 submissions, which included 46 books, 32 articles, and 17 radio programmes.
13 publishing houses and press agencies were also presented with certificates of merit for their contributions to the development of the theory and criticism of literature and the arts in 2020.
The winners will be honoured at an award ceremony, scheduled for November 22, at the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Theatre, 58 Quan Su Street, Hanoi.
The annual awards, hosted by the Central Council for the Theory and Criticism of Literature and the Arts, aim to honour outstanding works that popularise Party and State’s guideline and policies on literature and the arts while encouraging the development of theory and criticism within the fields.
