The event was held by the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Management Board as part of the activities to celebrate the Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Day (November 23); the 75th anniversary of the National Resistance Day (December 19, 1946 - 2021), and the 77th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 - 2021).

The exhibition which consists of three parts entitled “The Appeal for National Resistance”; “Hanoi on the Rise” and “Forward to Hanoi”, respectively, revived heroic memories of the army and people of Hanoi in response to President Ho Chi Minh’s appeal for national resistance 75 years ago.

In particular, the exhibition praises the aspirations for independence, freedom and peace of the Vietnamese people as well as their fighting spirit and sacrifice for national construction and defence.

The exhibition is also being introduced on Facebook Fanpage “Hoa Lo Prison Relic - Hoa Lo Prison Relic”, online radio platform Spotify and the Apple Podcast "Time travel".

The event is scheduled to run until the end of March, 2022.
