The event is also among the activities to celebrate the 132nd birth anniversary of Uncle Ho (May 19, 1890 – 2022). It saw the presence of Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC's Commission for Internal Affairs Phan Dinh Trac along with Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Hoa Binh.

The art programme aimed to honour the image of Hoang Thi Loan – a courageous and benevolent woman who made an important contribution to the formation of President Ho Chi Minh’s personality – in addition to honouring the positive qualities of Vietnamese women.

A 60-minute performance using professional, unique, and characteristic folk music featured the noble humanistic significance of the lotus image and the image of Hoang Thi Loan.

Speaking at the event, President of the Vietnam Women's Union Ha Thi Nga said that the life of Hoang Thi Loan was as simple and pure as the lotus, overcoming many difficulties to bloom and create fragrance.

The programme also delivered the message that each woman should continue to preserve and promote the positive traditional values of Vietnamese women and the Vietnamese nation.
