NDO - The Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Dong Mo Tourism Area in Son Tay Town, Hanoi, is hosting a summer programme to entertain children throughout July.

The programme is attracting the participation of more than 100 people from 14 ethnic groups including Nung, Tay, H’mong, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Xo Dang, and Raglai, from cities and provinces across the country, who are set to introduce visitors to their traditional rituals and festivals.

Children to the village are invited to participate in a myriad of folk games such as ‘pao’ (cloth ball) throwing, tug of war, and walking on stilts. They can also learn to play traditional musical instruments and compete in a drawing contest themed ‘I love my village’.

In addition, children can participate in activities to explore the traditional architecture, folklore arts, festivals, and customs of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
