Exhibitions held to commemorate War Invalids and Fallen Soldiers’ Day

An exhibition opened at the Exhibition House in the northern port city of Hai Phong on July 26 to mark the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27).

Over 160 valuable photos and documents are on display to highlight President Ho Chi Minh’s sentiments and attention to wounded and fallen soldiers, relatives of fallen soldiers and revolutionary contributors.

It also aims to honour wounded and sick soldiers, martyrs’ families and people with meritorious services to the revolutionary cause, who have overcome difficulties, actively participated in patriotic emulation movements and continued to devote strength and wisdom to the cause of national construction.

On the same day, a photo exhibition was also held in Hanoi.

The exhibits recalled the activities held to support the revolutionary contributors as well as literary and artistic creation campaigns, honouring heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes, fallen soldiers and revolutionary families.
