The contest is open to all journalists and professional and amateur photographers who are Vietnamese or foreigners living and working in Vietnam.
Black and white and colour entries in 13x18 centimetres format are eligible and should be sent no later than July 31 to the Vietnam Journalists Association Cultural House, 59 Ly Thai To Street, Hanoi.
One first prize of VND 10 million, two second prizes worth VND 7 million each, three VND 5 million third prizes and ten VND 1 million consolation prizes will be awarded to individual photographs, photo reportage and photo collections.
The awards ceremony and exhibition are scheduled to be held on the National Day, September 2, 2011.
