Project to provide overseas training for arts students approved

The Prime Minister has recently approved a project which will provide overseas training for those working in culture and the arts by 2030.

The project aims to improve the professionalism of those working in the fields of culture and the arts.

The project aims to improve the capacity and professionalism of arts lecturers, cultural lecturers and researchers, as well as experts and artists, who play a key role in the country’s arts training, research and performing.

The project has set a target of sending 300 bachelors of arts students, 180 masters students, 5 doctorate students and 40 individuals at an intermediate level of arts abroad by 2030.

It will also provide short training courses for around 360 outstanding lecturers, teachers, researchers and students at arts training and cultural research facilities.

The project gives priority for training in seven categories including music, fine arts, stage, cinema, dance, circus, and literary theory and composition.

Facilities selected to provide training include prestigious institutions in countries with strong advantages in the seven categories, such as Russia, China, France, Germany, Australia, Canada, Japan and the Republic of Korea.
