Winner of ‘I Love Vietnam’ photo contest honoured

Tran Bao Hoa has won the first prize for the ‘I Love Vietnam’ photography contest for the picture ‘Sac mau cua bien (Colour of Sea).

The 2018 annual photography contest, the eighth of its kind, was held by Vietnam Travel Review, under the sponsorship of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

The contest attracted 16,370 photo entries by 969 domestic and international photographers. The entries focused on the theme of scenery, life, tourists and festivals.

The organising board presented prizes to 11 works and selected 184 photos to display at an exhibition in the National History Museum from July 5 to 11.

In addition, the two most-liked and most-shared photos on Vietnam Travel Review’s Facebook page, at https://www.facebook.com/VietnamTourismReview, were also honoured.

The contest aims to introduce the Vietnamese culture and people to foreigners, raise awareness of tourism among the community, attract more tourists to Vietnam, and promote domestic tourism, contributing to making tourism a spearhead economic sector.
