The concert will feature the participation of artists from the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) under the baton of Belgian conductor Daniel Gazon, who recently visited Ho Chi Minh City in March 2017 to conduct the Mozart’s ‘Linz’ Symphony and Brucker’s Requiem.

The artists will bring works by Belgian composer Lodewijk Mortelmans (1868 -1952) and Joseph Jongen (1873-1953) to the stage.

The highlight of the concert will be the Symphony No. 8 in F major, Op. 93, a symphony in four movements composed by renowned German composer Ludwig van Beethoven in 1812

Conductor Daniel Gazon, born in 1955, finished studying trumpet and double bass in 1977 and began studying as a conductor a year later. He has worked with internationally acclaimed conductors such as Seiji Ozawa and Sergiu Celibidache, as well as leading orchestras in Belgium, Poland, Slovakia and other European countries.
