The exhibition will showcase 139 works selected from the 48th Art Photo Contest 2018. The works reflect the diversity of life in Hanoi’s suburbs, through a journey of exploration and discovery of each author.
The 48th Art Photo Contest 2018 was held to celebrate the August Revolution (August 19), National Day (September 2), the 64th anniversary of Hanoi's Liberation Day and the 10th anniversary of the implementation of Resolution No.15/2008/NQ-QH12 dated May 29, 2008 of the 12th National Assembly on the adjustment of the capital city’s administrative boundary.
According to Dao Quang Minh, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Union of Literature and Arts Associations, in the two months since its launch, the contest received 1,750 works of 293 authors in Hanoi. In particular, many works were composed in four districts of Hanoi, Dan Phuong, Thanh Tri, Hoai Duc and Dong Anh, the districts of Hanoi which have been recognised as new rural standards.
The exhibition will further communicate the efforts and positive results of the authorities and the people of the capital over the past 10 years.
The exhibition runs until August 7.
