The event is held by the Vietnamese Stage Artists Association and will be open to magicians of all ages from both public and private circuses and art troupes.
An act is restricted to between 10 and 12 minutes and the most exceptional performances will be awarded with gold and silver medals.
The festival is expected to be an opportunity for magicians from across the country to meet, share experience and improve their skills in order to entertain the audience.
The event will also help managers of arts groups to review the quality of their members so that measures can be taken to enhance the skill of magicians.
