From September, 2017 to August, 2018, the Ho Chi Minh Museum carried out research, surveys, and collections, receiving more than 80 photos, materials, artifacts and publications on President Ho Chi Minh from individuals and organisations in Vietnam and abroad, including original artifacts with special value.

Over recent years, the Ho Chi Minh Museum has collected and received art works on President Ho Chi Minh by foreign authors and overseas Vietnamese painters.

According to Vu Manh Ha, the Director of the Museum, such documents help to enrich the museum’s collection and facilitate research on the country’s great father.

At the ceremony, the Ho Chi Minh Museum handed over thank-you letters to nine individuals, who have made positive contributions to the museum’s collection. In addition, the family of the late Minister of Health Hoang Tich Tri were awarded a certificate of merit by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
