The event is part of the activities organised by the Son La provincial authorities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho and a Government delegation visiting and talking with the northwestern ethnic compatriots (May 7, 1959-2019).

The exhibits features three themes, including “life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh”, “Uncle Ho with Son La – Northwest, Son La – Northwest with Uncle Ho” and “achievements obtained by Son La’s ethnic communities following Uncle Ho’s teachings over the past six decades”.

The photo exhibition aims to offer visitors a deeper insight into President Ho Chi Minh’s life and revolutionary career as well as his significant contributions to the country. It also provides a panorama of the local economy, society-culture and defence-security.

Together with the exhibition at Tay Bac Square in Son La city, the photos and historical materials are also on display in the three Son La districts of Thuan Chau, Yen Chau and Moc Chau, where Uncle Ho visited and talked with the ethnic people during his historic trip six decades ago.
