Taking place from May 12-25, the event attracts the participation of 10 European countries, namely the UK, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the Wallonie - Bruxelles Delegation in Vietnam.

Activities regarding the introduction of books are organised at the main stage of the Book Street during the period.

In addition, an interactive space was set up to display comic characters where children can draw their favourite characters such as Lucky Luke, Tin Tin, Smurfs, Spirou, Asterix, and others.

The "Book bus" is a place to showcase European literary books that have been translated into Vietnamese, which readers can read on site or borrow to enjoy reading at home.

The event also arranges a space to feature a traffic safety playground and book covers and film posters adapted from literary works so that children can play motion games.

The booths of European literature offer many forms of discounts from 20-30%.

European Literature Days is an annual activity of the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) held in May.

This year's festival will be expanded in North, Central and South Vietnam, with a variety of activities including literature discussions, exhibitions, book introduction, film screening, interactive activities, and others.
