The event was part of activities to celebrate Vietnam Year in Russia and Russia Year in Vietnam from 2019-2020.

Ao Dai garments were made of locally-made silks and decorated with the images of famous architectural works and landscapes in Russia, such as the Kremlin palace and St. Basil's Cathedral.

The collection of Ao Dai was combined with non la (Vietnamese conical hats), delighting Russian and international friends.

In addition, 60 dresses designed from natural silks in Bao Loc district, Lam Dong province and brocade materials were presented, introducing the cultural beauty of ethnic minority groups in Vietnam.

After the show, designer Minh Hanh presented two Ao Dai sets and a brocade dress to the State Museum of Oriental Art.

Last year, she gave a talk about the development and beauty of Ao Dai in Russia.
