The event will run until September 10 at 28A Dien Bien Phu street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.

On the same day, a symposium discussing the theoretical and practical values of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament was organised in Hanoi.

Papers presented at the symposium affirmed that the special historic document has become a guideline for Vietnam’s revolution and development over the past 50 years.

Based on analysis of the document’s theoretical and practical values, speakers discussed lessons drawn out from the implementation of the testament, which will be useful in the cause of national construction and development.

President Ho Chi Minh began writing his will in May 1965 and finished it in May 1969 – four months before he passed away. The Testament sums up the President’s viewpoint and ideology, while expressing his concerns, aspirations and hopes for the country.
