Exhibitions mark 50th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament

Many exhibitions opened on August 20 in the provinces of Dong Nai and Can Tho to mark 50 years of implementing the testament of President Ho Chi Minh.

In Dong Nai province, the exhibition showcases over 50 photos highlighting the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh – the national liberation hero; and 250 photos and 200 objects introducing the historical context of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth, the content of his testament and outstanding achievements that the country and Dong Nai province have gained over the past 50 years of implementing the President Ho Chi Minh’s testament.

In addition, the exhibition also introduced more than 170 books written on President Ho Chi Minh and Dong Nai province.

The exhibition, running until September 10, is expected to help visitors further understand the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh and the value of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament.

Meanwhile, Can Tho City Museum opened a photo exhibition titled "50 years of President Ho Chi Minh's testament " and a painting exhibition on life in resistance wars in the Mekong Delta.

The exhibition runs until September 9.

President Ho Chi Minh began writing his will in May 1965 and finished it in May 1969 – four months before he passed away. The Testament sums up the President’s viewpoint and ideology, while expressing his concerns, aspirations and hopes for the country.
