Exhibition marks 50 years of Uncle Ho’s testament

On August 27, Hai Duong Museum opened an exhibition to mark the 50-year implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament.

With nearly 300 documents and, images and artifacts, the exhibition offers visitors a clear insight into the interests of President Ho Chi Minh with Hai Duong province’s Party Committee, authorities and people, and affection of the Party Committee and people of Hai Duong province with President Ho Chi Minh.

The exhibition also showcases the outstanding socio-economic achievements of Hai Duong province after 50 years of implementing Uncle Ho’s testament and the results of 3 years of implementing the Politburo's directive No. 05-CT/TW on pushing through the study and following of the thoughts, morals and style of President Ho Chi Minh.

The exhibition runs until October 27, 2019.

On the occasion, Hai Duong Provincial Museum also presented certificates to five individuals who donated historical documents and artifacts to the museum.

Meanwhile, the State Records and Archives Department of Vietnam has announced that on August 28, the exhibition "Ho Chi Minh: life and career from Vietnamese and international archives" will be opened at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi, as part of activities to celebrates the 50-year implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament.

The exhibition will introduce more than 100 national documents on President Ho Chi Minh's life and revolutionary career currently preserved at the archives, cultural agencies of Vietnam, Russia, France and the US.

The exhibition is expected to help the public have more materials to better understand the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh as well as his thoughts and dedication for the cause of national liberation, the cause of peace, friendship and development and the advancement of Vietnam and the entire world.
