Exhibition spotlights Vietnam – Russia friendship

An exhibition, featuring 150 photos on Russia’s landscape and people, cooperation activities between Vietnam and Russia, and the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association’s activities, opened in Hanoi on November 1.

The photos at the exhibition were taken by journalists: Vu Huyen, Nguyen Dang Phat, Le Phuc Nguyen, Pham Tien Dung and Nguyen Vinh Quang. The journalist had studied at the Faculty of Journalism, Lomonosov Moscow State University in the 1970s of the 20th century.

Vice President of the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association Trinh Quoc Khanh shared: “The five authors are the historians who record the Vietnam - Russia relationship in pictures. Coming to this exhibition, each of us will be "met" by Russia’s landscape and people, witnessening many important events in the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia.”. The exhibition is part of a small contribution to strengthen the friendship between Vietnam and Russia, he added.

The photos charm Vietnamese people to love Russia more. The friendship between the people of the two countries is further strengthened every day on the basis of the good feelings of so many generations of Vietnamese and Russian people in the past and present, as well as the future.

2019 is the Vietnam-Russia Cross Year, with special significance for the two countries, marking many important events. This year celebrates the 25th anniversary of the signing of the treaty on basic principles for the Vietnam – Russia bilateral friendship (1994-2019) and the 70th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties (1950-2020).
