This is the first time Vietnam has organised the large-scale Bonsai and Suiseki.

This year’s event featured nearly 1,000 ornamental artworks from 40 provinces and cities around the host country as well as over 250 Suiseki works.

Notably, more than 100 art photos of bonsais by both domestic and international artisans will be showcased at the festival.

A wide variety of other unique activities will also be held during the four-day event, including a contest of Bonsai works from Vietnam, performances of making Bonsai by Vietnamese and international artisans, an award ceremony to honour outstanding Bonsai and Suiseki artworks, trade pavilions of bonsais, tours to go sightseeing in the City and a workshop.

The biennial festival will offer an opportunity to promote the image of the land and people and culture of Vietnam to international friends.
