The event is being held from December 18 to 21 by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
The exhibits are noted in both the Vietnamese and English languages and are divided into three categories, including the ancient materials reflecting human rights in Vietnam’s feudal dynasties, the materials before Doi Moi (Renewal) and the materials after Doi Moi.
The group of post-Doi Moi materials are arranged by the basic rights groups, such as the civil and political rights; the economic, social and cultural rights; the rights of vulnerable social groups; and international cooperation on human rights.

Speaking at the exhibition, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao said over recent years, Vietnam has attained significant achievements in the cause of protecting and promoting human rights.
The exhibition aims to raise awareness of human rights among the people, levels of state and business management, and especially the law enforcement forces, while showcasing Vietnam as a country with humanitarian and humane traditions and as responsible to the people and the international community, the official emphasised.
At the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Bao presented a set of exhibited photos and materials to the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee to serve the communication work in the locality.
