Documentary films recall historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign

The People’s Army Film Studio has launched five documentary films recalling the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign during the resistance war against US imperialism, as part of activities to mark the 45th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification (April 30).

The films comprise five episodes under the 22-episode documentary project titled “The chosen path”. The scriptwriter and general director of the long-episode project are Lai Van Sinh and People’s Artist Le Thi.

The screened documentaries were directed by Meritorious Artist Pham Huyen, People’s Artist Luu Quy, Bui Chi Trung and Tran Vu Anh.

With a length of 30-31 minutes each, the films were elaborately and meticulously produced thanks to highly accurate historical images. They reflect the history with the objective and multi-dimensional perspectives of today.

The documentaries will be screened in the armed units and aired on television channels on the occasion of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day.
