The book, entitled “Vietnam – the life-and-death battle against Covid-19”, was published by the Labour Publishing House.

The drafting committee of the book consists of journalist Ngoc Nien (chief editor) and many other experienced journalists and editors such as Tran Dinh Thao, Luu Tran Luan and Bui Duc Toan.

The 280-page colour book consists of five chapters: “The order of the Fatherland”, “Warriors to Fight”, “The 15-day life-and-death battle”, “The whole people go to the front” and “The world praises Vietnam”.

Accordingly, the opening pages note the documents released by the Party, Government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, including timely and accurate decisions during the fight against the epidemic.

The book recalls the efforts made by the entire political system and people from all strata, especially the tense days of controlling the epidemic’s spread in hot spots.

In addition, the book praised the functional forces at the front line who have devoted themselves to the cause of protecting patients’ lives as well as the people who contributed essential donations to the anti-epidemic forces, quarantine areas and those living in difficult circumstances. All these activities have been highly appreciated by the world.

The book will be officially released across the country on April 30.
