The eighth annual awards programme aims to advertise the land and people of Vietnam, especially the country’s internationally recognised heritages.

According to the organising committee, as many as 16 prizes, worth approximately VND300 million (US$12,920) in total, will be presented across three categories: photo set, cover photo and single photo.

The deadline for submissions will be August 31, 2020.

Entries must not have been published previously or used by newspapers or have participated in any other photo contests during the awards period. The photos must be taken within the last two years.

The judging panel consists of five members, who are all prestigious managers and professional photographers, with Chairman of the Vietnamese Association of Photographic Artists Vu Khanh as the head.

Within the framework of the awards, a photo tour featuring field composition will be organised in the south central coastal region, open to professional photographers and close collaborators of the Heritage Magazine.

As usual, 16 prize-winning photos and the outstanding ones selected from the photo tour will be displayed during an exhibition in late September.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to be held in December 2020.
