Since 1986 when the country began the renewal process, a generation of talented painters together with a strong consumption market in the country and abroad has formed and developed.
The Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism selected the typical contemporary painters in the fine arts market and their outstanding works to be honoured at the exhibition.
The honoured painters, including 12 from Hanoi and seven from Ho Chi Minh City, have created good quality artworks that have been popular in the market.
The exhibition will help domestic and international art lovers have an overview of the formation and development of Vietnam’s fine art market.
