The move is among the propaganda activities regarding Vietnam’s 2020 ASEAN Chairmanship.
The stamp also aims to highlight the idea of building a united, prosperous and peaceful ASEAN.
The stamp measures 37 x 37mm and was designed by Vietnamese artist Tran The Vinh. The stamp has a price of VND4,000 and will be offered on the public postal network by June 30, 2022.
Previously, the Vietnam Post issued seven sets of stamps on the theme of ASEAN in 1995, 1998, 2007, 2010, 2015, 2017 and 2019.
In particular, the two sets of stamps entitled “The 50th Anniversary of ASEAN” issued in 2017 and “National Costume” issued in 2019 were jointly released by all ASEAN member countries under the ASEAN Stamp project.
