The event will gather together hundreds of artisans, actors, actresses and athletes from six cities and provinces including Thanh Hoa, Hanoi, Hoa Binh, Son La, Phu Tho and Binh Phuoc as well as a guest art troupe from Laos’ Houaphanh Province.

A string of activities highlighting the distinct culture of the Muong ethnic group will be held during the event, including folk songs and dances, a traditional costume show, and gong performances.

The traditional weaving craft and traditional cultural practices of Muong ethnic people will also be introduced to visitors to the event.

Under the framework of the event, the organising board will host survey trips to community-tourist and ecological sites in Thanh Hoa province.

The cultural days are held to provide an opportunity to advertise the tradition and culture of the Muong ethnic group while helping participating localities to promote their tourism potential to visitors both at home and abroad.
