Hanoi promotes construction of creative spaces

A ceremony was held at the Cultural and Art Centre in Hoan Kiem district Hanoi, on December 24, to kick off the Creativity Inspiration Week 2021 and honour winners of Creative Space Design Contest for the capital city.

The Creativity Inspiration Week 2021 aims to create a platform to connect all resources and talents throughout the creative culture of Hanoi.

The series of activities under the Creativity Inspiration Week will feature the participation of many traditional and modern art forms, such as fashion design, calligraphy, sketching, music experimentation, video arts and experimental traditional theatrical art performances.

In addition, a wide variety of exhibitions are being held to introduce the creative cultural spaces, contributing to raising public awareness for the construction of creative spaces and communities.

The Creativity Inspiration Week will also feature the seminars and talks from artists, architectures and experts on the issues related to creativity that is inspired from traditional heritage values in the contemporary and technology lives.

The event will offer a chance for managers, policy makers and investors to assess the potential, advantages, opportunities and challenges, as well as boost the formation of creative communities and seek ideas for designing and exploiting the creative spaces in the capital city, helping improve the position of Hanoi in the region.

The activities during the week will be also introduced on technical platforms via fan page www.facebook.com/khoinguonsangtaohn. The week will last until December 31.

Following the opening ceremony of the Creativity Inspiration Week 2021, winners of the Hanoi Creative Space Design Contest were honoured.

Hanoi was recognised by UNESCO as one of the Creative City Networks of the world in 2019.
