E-book series launched from television documentary “Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh Era - A Television History”

An e-book series, which has been compiled from the massive television documentary series entitled “Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh Era - A Television History”, is expected to be released in late July.

The e-book, under the same name as the documentary, has been developed by the Nhan Dan (People) Documentary and Cinema Studio under Nhan Dan Newspaper, the Party Central Committee (PCC)’s Commission for Communications and Education and Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House.

The book has 90 chapters corresponding to the 90 broadcasted episodes.

The book series has taken advantage of many valuable documents and the information has been arranged into a transparent system, becoming an independent product released on the internet.

The e-book has rich content, combining many elements including language, commentary, images, music video clips and sounds from the television documentary. The book can be easily downloaded via electronic devices.

The television documentary series entitled “Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh Era - A Television History” was aired in 2021, featuring many documents that had never been published before.

The film reflected systematically and fully the long-term development of the nation and the Party.

It was honoured with the Special Prize at the 2021 National Press Awards. It was the first work to win the special prize.
