A selection of 69 fine art works by 62 painters will be on display, including famous names such as Co Tan Long Chau, Ngo Manh Lan Nguyen Trong Hop and Nguyen Tuong Linh. They were selected from the collections by the museum in collaboration with the Vietnam Military History Museum.

The exhibits highlight the painters’ perspectives on the images of soldiers, the unforgettable memories of the past wars, their affection and gratitude to the heroic Vietnamese mothers, doctors and nurses and the many simple examples of those who have quietly devoted their youth and lives to the nation’s victory.

With a variety of styles, genres and materials, the exhibition will help viewers reminisce about a glorious past.

The exhibits will also contribute to inspiring national pride, the aspiration for peace and the respect for people who sacrificed themselves for the nation’s independence.
