Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Truong Manh Son said the movie sheds light on social issues that Vietnam has to deal with in its development process.
Vietnam has participated in the festival three times with Chuyen cua Pao (Pao’s story – 2012), Canh dong bat tan (The floating lives – 2013), Lua Phat (Once upon a time in Vietnam – 2014).
Under major sponsorship of the local Barrandov film studio and Vietnam Airlines, the event is scheduled to run at Lucerna Cinema from September 8-12. It will bring audiences art projects from the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
