Selected from 11,750 sets of drawing (each set including five drawings) by children aged 6-12 years from across the country, the works will be sent to Japan to participate in the final round along with other children from 24 Asian countries.
The best sets of drawings are works by Duong Quynh Huong from Hanoi, Tran Chau Anh from Hanoi, Tran Bao Ngoc from Thai Binh Province, Nguyen Mai Trang from Hanoi, Duong Tu Anh from Hai Phong, Nguyen Quang Anh from Hanoi, Nguyen Phuong Thao from Hanoi and Dang Thanh Trung from Hanoi.
The “Mitsubishi Asian Children’s Enikki Festa 2015-2016” was jointly sponsored by the Mitsubishi Public Affairs Committee, the Asian Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations and the National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan.
Enikki is an illustrated diary that portrays daily events and thoughts in the form of a picture and short essay. The Mitsubishi Company has supported the Enikki Festa since 1990 in order to encourage the children of Asia to understand and respect each other’s cultural differences and to strive for a better future together.
Launched in September 2015, the competition, themed “Here Is My Life,” aims to create an opportunity for children to understand the daily lives of Asian people via illustrated diaries created by other children throughout Asia.
