The event is one of the major activities under the ‘French Month in Vietnam’, celebrating the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-France diplomatic ties.

This year’s event will feature around 40 pavilions from French enterprises, restaurants and hotels. Typical products, such as cheese, cake, syrup, jam and pate will be displayed and sold with discounts of up to 50%.

Speaking at a press conference on November 21, Consul-General of France in Ho Chi Minh City Vincent Floreani said that ‘Balade en France’ is expected to welcome over 4,000 visitors.

Notably, artists from both Vietnam and France will give unique arts performances, highlighting the cultural and artisticinteraction between the two countries.

In addition, non-government organisations will host entertainment activities for children and their families, including street music contests, wine tasting, sweepstakes and face painting.

The ‘Balade en France 2018’ will be held in Hanoi from December 14 to 16, with nearly 60 booths.
