The 260-page book, with 475 pictures, introduces 11 ethnic groups in the five provinces of Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Lam Dong. The ethnic groups are the Bana, Brau, Churu, Coho, Ede, Giarai, Gie, Trieng, Ma, Mnong, Romam and Xodang.

The photos were taken by 17 photographers most of whom have a long-term attachment with research activities on the Central Highlands in different fields. Besides, there are some photos from the source of archives and old photos taken decades ago.

Along with the photos, the book also contains an overview of "The ethics in the Central Highlands and traditional culture", and an article on each ethnic group. The book promises to provide readers rich information on the culture and life of ethic people in the Central Highlands.

The book is a continuation of the two photo books also carried out by Mr. Nguyen Van Kieu and Mr. Luu Hung, including "Nha Mo Tay Nguyen (Tomb in Central Highlands) (in 2003) and "Nha Rong Tay Nguyen” (Communal House in Central Highlands) (2006 and 2017).
