The event, the third of its kind to be held under the sponsor of the Korea-Vietnam Cultural Exchange Association (KOVECA), aims to promote Vietnamese culture to the RoK, while cementing the bond and cultural exchanges between the Vietnamese and RoK peoples.

It is also designed to provide a venue for the Overseas Vietnamese community in the RoK to meet and take part in various cultural activities.

The festival will feature a fashion show featuring Ao Dai (traditional Vietnamese long dress) and Hanbok (traditional Korean dress) by designers from the two countries, in addition to Vietnamese and RoK folk games and an exciting contest.

Visitors at the event will have an opportunity to taste the signature dishes of Vietnam and RoK, and enjoy musical performances by popular artists and bands from the two countries.

The festival is expected to welcome 1,000 visitors.
