This year’s K-Pop Lovers Festival will feature a variety of unique activities, including an exhibition on K-pop idols, the introduction of the culture, tourism and food of the Republic of Korea (RoK), and exchanges among K-pop fan clubs.

Notably, street shows will be performed by the GORPHY band which is renowned for drum performances.

The qualifying round of Changwon K-pop World Festival 2019 will take place at the Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square at 6pm on May 12.

At the contest, 18 outstanding national individuals and groups selected from the knockout rounds in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will have the opportunity to show off their singing and dancing skills as well as their love for K-pop.

They will perform along with young Vietnamese singer Min and the Seoul B-boy Crew band from the RoK.

The winning contestants will represent Vietnam in the qualification round of the K-Pop World Competition in Changwon, the RoK, in September.
