The exhibition is part of the activities to mark the 30th celebration of the Whole People's Defence Festival and the 75th founding anniversary of Vietnamese People’s Army (December 22).

On display are nearly 300 photos, documents and artefacts reflecting the good relationship between soldiers and people during the cause of national liberation and defence as well as the achievements in the 30 years since the launch of the Whole People’s Defence Festival.

The exhibition has contributed to educating and promoting the traditional strong attachment and sentiment between army soldiers and people in the past and present, while inspiring the patriotism and revolutionary heroism among visitors, particularly young generations.

The exhibition is divided into three parts, the formation of Vietnamese People’s Army; the great contributions of armed forces, along with the support from the people, to the glorious victories over the foreign invaders; and the achievements and development of the People’s Army over the past 30 years.

The exhibition is expected to run until the end of December.
