The exhibits were selected from the 345 entries of 182 painters from 10 ASEAN countries.

Being presented in various media forms including embossed prints, concave prints, flat prints, monoprints, multidimensional prints, and digital prints, works on display feature the natural landscapes and life in ASEAN countries as well as the solidarity, cooperation and friendship among its members.

At the opening ceremony, the organising board presented 11 prizes to the best entries in the contest, including one first, two second, three third, and five consolation prizes.

The event will run until November 25 at the Vincom Centre for Contemporary Art, B1 floor, R3 block, Vincom Megamall Royal City, 72A Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi.

This is the third time Vietnam has hosted the event, jointly held by the country’s Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition and the International Cooperation Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with Vietnamese Embassies in ASEAN countries and the Embassies of ASEAN countries in Vietnam.

It aims to promote cultural exchange and international cooperation among ASEAN member countries while providing an opportunity for participating artists to meet and share experiences with their colleagues in the region.
