The exhibits are divided into three parts themed “President Ho Chi Minh with the first general election”, “Vietnamese National Assembly – the historic stages” and “The armed forces of Military Region 7 live and work following the constitution and law”.

The exhibition introduced documents related to the constitution and laws related to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels as well as regulations on the elections.

The exhibition also highlights the contributions of the armed forces of Military Region 7 to the preparations for and organisation of the elections.

The event contributes to helping cadres, soldiers, people and visitors have a deeper understanding of the purpose, meaning and importance of the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels as well as thoroughly grasping the Law on the Election of deputies to the National Assembly and People's Council in 2015.

The exhibition will last until the end of May.

* Also on the same day, the Thai Binh provincial Literature and Arts Association held a ceremony to present awards to the winners of the propaganda competition on the general election.

Following nearly two months of entrants, the competition attracted 75 paintings in total from 22 painters.

The most outstanding works are on display to the public.
