Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc congratulated the hospital’s medical staff on gaining the honoured title.
The Deputy PM highly values the efforts made by the hospital’s doctors and nurses in caring for the health of patients, urging them to continue the good work, making the hospital a trustworthy medical address in the central region.
Also at the ceremony, Deputy PM Phuc cut the ribbon to inaugurate a new 11-storey multifunctional building of the hospital.
Covering a total area of 24,000 metres square, with a total investment of VND220 billion (US$10.3 million), the new building houses 450 sick beds.
Located at 122 Hai Phong street, Hai Chau district, the C Hospital provides services every year for more than 265,000 patients from cities and provinces in the central region.
