On display are 150 historical photos and artefacts including personal belongings of the soldiers, bicycles, artillery bodies and ammo boxes.

They contain memories and stories with high historical values of the two resistance wars against French colonialism and US imperialism.

The exhibition contributes to educating and inspiring the national pride among people, thereby mobilising them, especially young people to contribute to national construction and defence.

The event will run until May 20.

The event is part of activities to mark the 47th anniversary of the southern liberation and national reunification (April 30), the 68th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7) and the 132nd birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19).
