The book features the main stages in the career of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, with detailed information about his youth and years at university that few people know. In addition, many articles written by Nguyen Phu Trong, when he was a reporter at Tap chi Cong san (Communist Review), were also introduced in the book.

Korean author Cho Chul-hyeon said that with the long-standing relationship between the two countries, Koreans pay special attention to Vietnam. He himself has visited Vietnam many times and is impressed with General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s excellent skills in writing commentaries and argumentations as well as his career.

As soon as the book was released in RoK, Professor Kim Yong-geun, the leading expert in Vietnamese studies at Seoul University, told the author that the book provides many valuable documents for RoK researchers, according to Cho Chul-hyeon.

In particular, the Korean press began to report on the book, emphasising that if you know about the leader of a country, you can see the future of that country in the next 10 years.
